The storm, assembled by hand.
A 4.0-litre V8 biturbo, a carbon monocoque and a body drawn by the wind. Scroll: every part takes its place before your eyes.

01The engine
A V8 built piece by piece.
Eleven stages, from the cast block to the painted covers. Drag to rotate the engine; hover over a part to see its name.
-
01The engine block
High-pressure cast aluminium, with the banks at 90°. Eight 86 mm bores with plasma-sprayed liners.
- AlSi7Mg alloy
- 38 kg
- 86.0 mm bore
-
02The crankshaft
Forged from a single piece of steel, with its crankpins at 180°: the flat-plane crank lets the engine rev to 8,500 rpm.
- 86 mm stroke
- 5 main bearings
- 6.2 kg flywheel
-
03Pistons and conrods
Forged pistons and titanium conrods, fitted pair by pair; each one slides down its bore onto its crankpin.
- 9.4:1 compression
- 150 mm conrods
- 486 g per pair
-
04The cylinder heads
Thirty-two valves, four per cylinder. The exhaust ports face the inside of the V, giving the gases the shortest possible path to the turbines.
- Intake Ø 34 mm
- Exhaust Ø 29 mm
- Sodium-filled valves
-
05The camshafts
Four camshafts, two per bank, with continuously variable timing on both intake and exhaust.
- ±40° variation
- 11.2 mm lift
- 64 lobes
-
06The timing drive
Two double chains link the crankshaft to the cams. The aluminium cover closes it all; at the front sit the pulleys of the alternator and the compressor.
- Double chains
- 220 A alternator
- Electric air conditioning
-
07Dry-sump lubrication
The oil lives in a separate tank, not under the engine. The sump becomes flat and the engine sits 60 mm lower, taking the centre of gravity with it.
- 4-stage pump
- 12 l of oil
- –60 mm
-
08The turbochargers
Two turbines mounted in the hot V, on ball bearings: they answer the throttle without the usual pause of forced induction.
- 1.6 bar boost
- 160,000 rpm
- Ball bearings
-
09The exhaust
Inconel manifolds, the alloy of jet engines. The colours come from working temperature: straw, bronze and blue appear on their own at 950 °C.
- Inconel 625
- 0.9 mm walls
- –4.2 kg
-
10The intake
Carbon-fibre plenums, short runners and one throttle body per bank. The compressed air passes through an air-to-water intercooler.
- Prepreg carbon
- Air-to-water intercooler
- 2 throttles
-
11The covers
Viola Astra paint with metallic flakes and eight ignition coils. The engine is complete: 3,996 cc, ready to start.

02The chassis
The engine finds its place.
An 82 kg carbon-fibre monocoque, aluminium subframes, double-wishbone suspension and carbon-ceramic brakes. The engine lowers in behind the cabin.
- 01The carbon monocoque82 kg · 48,000 Nm/° stiffness
- 02The subframesvacuum-cast aluminium
- 03The suspensiondouble wishbones, adaptive dampers
- 04The brakes410 mm carbon-ceramic discs, 10-piston calipers
- 05The wheels21 / 22 inch, centre lock
- 06Engine and gearbox7-speed dual clutch
03The body
Drawn by the wind.
The carbon panels arrive one by one: the floor and diffuser, the flanks, the doors, the clamshells and the active wing. Finally, the paint and the lights.
- 01Floor and diffuser1,100 kg of downforce at 250 km/h

04Performance
The numbers of the storm.
Power rises linearly to 7,500 rpm; peak torque arrives at 3,000 rpm and stays on a plateau 3,000 rpm wide.

05Configurator
Yours, in three choices.
Choose the paint, the wheel finish and the caliper colour. Drag to rotate the car.
06The atelier
Made by hand, checked by machines.
Each engine is assembled by a single technician, from block to covers, and carries their signature. Each body goes through 400 hours of work.
