Experiment 26287Temyro · calibre TMR-01
Time has 151 parts.
An automatic watch with a sapphire caseback, modelled part by part in Blender and set in motion in the browser. The hands show your time, and the seconds hand takes eight steps a second, like every calibre beating at 28,800 vibrations an hour.

01The dial
The rays catch the light.
A black sunray dial: fine rays run out from the centre and light up as you move the cursor. The applied indices and the polished hands carry Luminova, and the domed sapphire crystal is anti-reflective on the inside.
The crown is pulled: the movement has stopped and the hands follow the slider.
- Ø 30.7 mm
- Domed sapphire, 2.25 mm
- 31-day date
02The rotor
Every movement winds it.
Through the caseback you see the gold rotor with its Côtes de Genève stripes. Every movement of the wrist turns it and winds the mainspring in the barrel. Drag the rotor or hold the button down and watch the power reserve fill up.
Power reserve
- Gold rotor on a ball bearing
- Blued screws
- Perlage main plate
03The movement
The heart beats eight times a second.
Under the bridges the gear train is at work: the barrel with its mainspring, the centre, third and fourth wheels, the escape wheel, the pallet fork and the balance with its blued hairspring. Slow time down to see the pallet fork release one tooth at every beat.
- 01The barrelHolds the mainspring: energy for 42 hours.
- 02The centre wheelOne turn an hour; it carries the minute hand.
- 03The third wheelSteps the speed down towards the seconds wheel.
- 04The fourth wheelOne turn a minute; it carries the seconds hand.
- 05The escape wheelMoves one tooth with every oscillation.
- 06The pallet forkIts ruby pallets lock and release the escape wheel.
- 07The balanceSwings four times a second, held by the blued hairspring.
04151 parts
Every part, in its place.
Scroll: the watch comes apart and the parts lay themselves out on the table in assembly order — the case, the dial and hands, the movement, the jewels and screws, the bracelet. Touch a part to see its name and size.

05The bracelet
Sixteen links, three parts each.
Each link sets a polished centre piece between two brushed outer pieces, and the links are held by pins; the folding clasp has two blades and two release buttons. 20 mm spring bars tie it to the case.
- 16 links
- 20 mm between the lugs
- Folding clasp with logo

Experiment 26287
A website can be just as precise.
This is an experiment: a model built in Blender, prepared for the browser and set in motion with WebGL, without libraries. It is how we build websites too: part by part, down to the last screw.
