Chapter 1 of 4
6microphones
Adaptive noise cancelling
Six microphones measure noise 48,000 times a second and adjust the filtering to your surroundings: metro, open-plan office, plane. Transparency mode lets voices through without taking the headphones off.
-
Chapter 2 of 4
40hours
A week of battery life
40 hours with noise cancelling on, 55 without. Ten minutes of USB-C charging gives five hours of listening. When the battery runs out, the 3.5 mm cable takes over.

Materials that age well
Anodised aluminium cups, a stainless-steel headband, memory-foam cushions wrapped in protein leather. The cushions swap without tools; the headband adjusts without clicks.

Chapter 4 of 4
40mm
Sound without emphasis
40 mm drivers with a cellulose and titanium diaphragm, tuned to a neutral curve. The in-app equaliser has five bands, and the “flat” profile is the default.
Demonstration figures, for this example website.

Materials
Close-up on what you touch.
Every surface was chosen for how it feels after a year, not after a day.
Protein leather and memory foam
The cushions mould to your shape within minutes and do not heat the ear; they detach magnetically for cleaning or replacement.
Anodised aluminium
The cups are milled from a single block and matt-anodised, so they do not hold fingerprints and do not scratch in a bag.
Stainless steel
The headband and pivots are steel; the adjustment is continuous friction, with no steps, and stays put.
Sound
Tuned to disappear.
Orbis One has no “house sound”. The response curve is neutral, with a slight lift in the bass for listening on the street, and instrument separation stays clear at low volume. Listening tests used acoustic recordings, not tracks produced for phones.
